Abstract

In her article, "Working Class Hegemony and the Struggle for Socialism," Chantal Mouffe calls for a redefinition of the socialist project. The traditional Marxist argument that the working class must be the hegemonic force within any socialist movement should, she contends, be reexamined and discarded.
