Reflections on the Intersections of Social Relations in the New Political Economy

Fiona Williams

Abstract

Issue 51 of SPE was devoted to analyses of the ways race, ethnicity, gender, class and sexuality operate as intersecting and mutually constitutive social relations. Each contribution in the collection demonstrates the possibility for juggling with these complexities in order to provide a new narrative of the contemporary and historical relationship of these intersections with state policies and the international political economy.
