After the Bubble has Burst: In Response to "Capitalism, Crisis and Finance: A Forum on Paper Boom"

While we are debating immediate problems like income distribution, tax fairness, public services, and free trade, we also need to be analyzing and understanding the evolution of the central internal engine that makes this system hum (or not hum): the process of capital accumulation through which those who own capital strive to expand their wealth, and in so doing set capitalism into motion.
